We recommend that you groom your dog every 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend this for breeds such as Poodles and Bichons (curly coats), Shih Tzus and Yorkies (drop coats), or Westies and Airedales (wire coats). If you have a breed such as Pomeranians, Shelties, or Goldens (double coats), or Jack Russells and Labradors ( smooth coat ), we still recommend every 6 to 8 weeks, as the dogs shedding is then kept in control. Why wait for clumps of hair left on the carpet! Who needs to do extra vacumming!

JadeSilk Kennels was established in 2004 with Sandy Orford and her two daughters, Beth and Courtney, breeding Shih Tzus, Standard Poodles and Pomeranians. Sandy has been an All-Breed Professional Handler for over 30 years, taking a break for a few years to raise her daughters. They began to show more interest in showing and breeding dogs they fancied, co-owning Pom's and Shih Tzu's in the past.
